Once you have obtained the Nvivo installers and licence code, you are ready to install the software. To download the NVivo installer, click one of the links below.

To obtain the current NVivo licence code please type your username in the field below. For example, if a user wants to open an NVivo 12 (Windows) project, they must have NVivo 12 (Windows), or later, installed.
NVivo does not provide forward compatibility - the user cannot open a project with a later format. The original project is not modified instead a converted copy of the project is created.
Enter your name and initials (optionally, opt out of the Customer Experience Improvement Program), then click OK.NVivo provides backward compatibility-if a user with a later version of NVivo attempts to open a project in an earlier format (for example, a user opens an NVivo 11 project in NVivo 12 (Windows)), the user is prompted to convert the project to the later format. Click OK – a User Profile dialog appears. Enter your details, then click Activate – a Your License has now been activated dialog appears. Click into the first of the five white boxes, then to paste the code into the dialog box press Command & V to paste the code in. Drag the black NVivo icon on to the blue Applications folder – see the opening NVivo dialog. Double click the NVivo icon – see dialog. Drag the NVivo.dmg on to your Desktop – see it copying. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) must be completed. Click the File tab, click Help, and then click Activate License (or Manage Licence) – see Activation dialog box. Select where you would like the application to save to. Click I accept the terms in the license agreement, then click Next – see a Setup Options dialog appear. Click Next – see a Licence Agreement dialog appear. You will see a progress bar and various temporary windows – wait – see a Welcome to InstallShield dialog appear. If necessary enter your University username and password to permit the file to run.
Double-click on the appropriate file for your system, then click Yes to allow the file to run. You can download the previous version (NVivo 12) on the same page. Once your account is set up, head to the downloads page and click the download button for your operating system. The University is currently licensed for the latest version of NVivo. If you cannot find this email, try looking in your junk email folder.

As part of the sign-up process, you will be sent a verification code to verify your email address. Follow the instructions on screen to sign up for NVivo portal.Click Try NVivo and then on the next page, click I already have a license.If this applies to you, follow the instructions below for installing NVivo Plus on Windows using the 32-bit installer file. NVivo is not currently available on AppsAnywhere for 32-bit computers. If the NVivo (64-bit) option is greyed out, you may have a 32-bit computer.
